Nigerian artists, Tems and Omah Lay have reportedly been requested to be released immediately following an order by a court.

Recall that the duo alongside their manager were arrested and remanded in prison following a flouting of covid -19 precautions in Uganda, a day after they held a show.

However, following various online petitions and subtle diplomatic pressures from Nigerian seeking to secure their release, the artists have now both been ordered to be released.

Top Ugandan artist, Bebe Cool, shared a picture of a document, which stated the ordering of their release by a magistrate court on his Twitter account .
