A video has emerged of the founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua’s humbling story to the top.

Allnews reports that the official Twitter account for TB Joshua, The SCOAN and EmmanuelTV shared the copy recently.

The clip showed how God raised a youthful being from a poverty-stricken home to lead an international ministry that would attract thousands worldwide today.

According to Emmanuel TV, the life of T.B. Joshua is “a story of amazing grace and unwavering focus”.

Presently, Joshua, 56, leads a megachurch described as “Nigeria’s biggest tourist attraction”.

Joshua wrote that in a heavenly vision, he received ‘divine anointing’ and a covenant from God to start his ministry in 1987.

As seen in the video put up by SCOAN, the church started with a handful of members but has since become one of Nigeria’s most influential churches, attracting reportedly over 50,000 people to its weekly Sunday services at the headquarters in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos. The caption of the video read:

“There is time for everything – a time to be born, a time to grow, a time to face persecution and a time to reap the fruit of your labour. Any life that does not follow this process is bound to face obstacles in the middle of the journey or late on the journey of life.” TB Joshua
