In an emotional video that we obtained, Wizkid was visibly downcast as he attended a candlelight procession in honor of his late mother.

The event, held in Lagos, Nigeria, brought together friends, family, and well-wishers to remember and celebrate the life of the beloved matriarch.

Wizkid returned to town on 10th of October to make arrangements for his mother’s funeral, a significant event scheduled for October 12.

The singer has always been open about the profound impact his mother had on his life and career. Losing her undoubtedly left a significant void in his heart.
