Whether it was a mere coincidence or a pre-planned event, Simi has continued to face serious backlash over her recent apology to the LGBTQ community after her husband featured on an exclusive in the LGBTQ magazine.

Recall that the singer and mother of tendered a public apology to the LGBT community on Monday following a “homophobic comment” she passed off in her YouTube show ‘Stoopid Sessions”.

Simi stated in her apology that she understands what descrimination is as a woman, and that no one deserves the hate the LGBT community is often shown.

At first her apology was warmly welcomed until later when her husband, Adekunle Gold became the cover star of Quazar Magazine, a print media platform popular for celebrating queer related creativity.

Now fans are saying her apology was not from the heart but merely because she didn’t want the public to use her word against her now that her hubby is associating with Quazar magazine.
